Miho started playing the koto at the age of 5 years.

1990 graduated from Tamashima High School. admitted to Tokyo University of Art.

1994 graduated Tokyo University of Arts, Department of Japanese Traditional Music. performed at Australian Embassy, Japan.

1995 Cultural Exchange performance, St. Põlten, Austria.

1996 Charity Concert for Pinotubo volcano in Philippines. performed at Luzon Island World Peace Memorial Ceremony.

1997 graduated from NHK Japanese Traditional Musician Training School. Solo performance at Wicking Country Hall in Britain. 4th Kenjun National Koto Competition, Encouragement Award.

1999 Japanese International Arts League Music Competition, Japanese Traditional Music Section, 1st Prize. passed at the Agency for Cultural Affairs Domestic Trainee. study with Kazue Sawai National Japanese Traditional Music Competition, Grand Prize.

2000 appearance Shinjuku Coma Theatre, Tokyo Ikuzo Yoshi Concert. appearance in NHK FM program " Japanese Traditional Music Time".

Member of Tokyo University of Arts “Doo See Kai” (group of same voice) and “Mori No Kai” (group of forest). Performances throughout Japan. Teaching at Tokyo and Kurashiki.
